Wednesdays are normally very busy for me. Many meetings today. Luckily, on most days I am able to work from home. WFH has lot of advantages but you need to be really disciplined, else there is always the danger of getting distracted.
Ammar had his Ice Skating assessment today. He made it to the next grade despite falling a few times!!
Abbu's books, published recently have been very well received......good that his hard work is getting appreciated.
In IPL, Maxwell's great form continues. Kings XI is on way to beat CSK. Gambhir is back in form. He hit 69 no to lead KKR to victory today. I did predict this in one of the earlier blogs. He started IPL 7 with scores of 0,0,0,1..............
It seems, Sunny Gavaskar will get patted on the back for conducting a successful IPL. He may make a few noises but will not ruffle too many feathers in BCCI. When his stint ends in a few weeks time, BCCI will be back to its old ways......I don't think Supreme Court will be able to tame this unruly beast 'BCCI'.....
There is an interesting story in Cricinfo on Aditya Verma, secretary of Bihar Cricket Association, who has took on the BCCI - (link below). Can an ordinary guy like him succeed in doing what the high & mighty have tried and failed??

Waqar Younis has been named the head coach of Pakistan. This is his second stint. He had a spat with Afridi the first time around. Hope it goes more smoothly this time. Waqar now lives in Sydney, Australia.
