Grammar School

Today was one of the most memorable days for us. Ammar has got a place in Dartford Grammar School. It is a huge achievement for Ammar. His 1 year of hard work preparing for the 11+ exam has paid off. We are grateful to Allah that Ammar has got this opportunity to go to a school which would be in the top 20 boys grammar schools in England. It was established in 1576 so it nearly 440 years old !!

Dartford Grammar School is the alma mater of Mick Jagger, of Rolling Stones.
This is a dream come true, Masha Allah.

At last a win for Pakistan

The Pakistan Cricket Team has been under fire in this World Cup for losing tamely to India and then to West Indies. The public and the media back home was hounding them. Today they were able to somehow defeat Zimbabwe to register their first victory in this WC. They must thank Wahab Riaz for the win today. Their batsmen again failed miserably with the exception of 'slow and steady' Misbah. The giant Mohammad Irfan also bowled beautifully to take 4-30.

The tean which looks the best at this point in time is New Zealand. In Brendon McCullum they have found an inspirational and ruthless captain. As we know Cricket is one game there the captain has a huge role to play.
