So the World Cup agony for England continues.......to be honest in both the matches they lost 1-2 they played attacking and attractive football but lacked the finish. They kept creating opportunities but just couldn't convert them. Whereas in both matches their opponents Italy and Uruguay converted the few opportunities they got.
Today Suarez was brilliant, scoring both the goals. The only consolation for England being, Rooney at last scored his first goal in World Cup in his 3rd attempt.
The highlight so far of this World Cup is the high number of goals being scored.....the average being 3 per match.....
This World Cup is looking pretty open now. The defending champs Spain is out in the first round. Brazil is not looking as good as we thought. Germany has been perhaps the best team so far followed by Holland but it is still early days.
Masha Allah, Manjhale Abbi is recovering well after his operation.
