Na samandar bakaram apna

Na koi sahil muntazir

Hum shikasta kashti ke musafir

Be-saro-saman nikle

Na koi hamdard apna

Na rahbar koi

Hum pattharon ke shaher se

Hoke pareshan nikle

Na taaron ne ki rehnumayi

Na chand ne thandak di hai

Hum namkeen paani se dhotte

Apne zakhmo-jaan nikle

Na sar pe topi apne

Na jhande haathon me

Hum dhoondhne khuda ko

Chaak-e-garebaan nikle
