Today is the final of the Asia Cup in Dubai between India & Bangladesh. India is obviously the favourites. But India should be wary of Bangladesh. They can spring a surprise.
A scenario in which Bangladesh can surprise India is like this:
Bangladesh win the toss and bat. They make 260+. India in their chase lose Rohit & shikhar Dhawan early. The pitch starts slowing down and India's middle order has not had much match practice in this tournament. They might struggle in this scenario. But I would still say that India has 75% chances to win this.
But then Cricket is a funny game. It is a game of glorious uncertainties.The team which plays well on the day wins. India the other day almost lost to Afghanistan. There is also something known as the 'law of averages'. That may catch up with India.
All in all it is goung to be an interesting match. I plan to work from home & watch it.
